Does anyone have any ideas on year or other information? Obviously it is a 3+2 five-speed. Wondering if pedals are original, i think so, but not sure. I think its a Mk1, right? But the pedals seem like Mk2, maybe. Not sure.

It's a 69 model, we call them tall frames because the headstock is slightly longer than every other model chopper
There should be a frame number on the left hand dropout which I can narrow down to a quarter in the year!
Hub stamped 68-12?

The "Patina" on the frame looks awesome. . A clean up on the chrome work and that will be one cool machine. :-) And a new seat cover ;-)

Thanks all. Slowly, I'm fiddling around with it. Getting new tyres so it'll ride. It's paint is indeed black. Wonder how to bring that paint back to life, at least partially, without a full redo? the fade has taken its toll. Any tips on new seat/recover? Any tips on getting the hub freed up- it's pretty tight now. I got the gear shifter moving again! Any ideas about value as it sits in the USA? Curious.

Seems like a lot of work on your hands. Sounds like all the metal parts, including hub, need a good soaking of oil. Most people who are successful with these projects usually have spares or donor bikes to use.
