Both real cool Choppers, like the easy rider American flag on tall frame & the black 5 speed is super nice. Weird it has lamp bracket in US ? If you have ANY questions about these bikes here is the place to answer them.

We have painted all white bikes here that show were some rider has fatally fallen to a vehicle. When watching the Tour De France I often thought a lineup of Choppers along the route would be an excellent way to promote the bikes & maybe jog someones memory.

Ya, on second thought with all these new ppl, yer best to right click, view image info, Win 7 & just post pix. If someone posted a listing for a bonafied post production Chopper, the site would be shut down for a week soez nobody else could get a peek.

Dont get a rusted out bike for yer first one. Save your money & get a nice one or you may be overwhelmed with the work necessary to bring it up to snuff. You should be able to show us your prospects for green light, without us bidding against you. ;D

I have the ball bearing on the Last Fastback & you can easily see it at max height. A used ball bearing will do just fine. As a collector I would like to see it there but this vid is the real reason.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Chopper copys... don't really hold much interest or value other than "hey there's another Chopper copy", except for one... the CCM Marauder. I am trying to now determine what was available for sale first, the Chopper or the Marauder without success. I cannot get serial #'s for CCM in the late 60's that seems to be a recurring problem with other manufactures for that time period. Maybe with the influx of baby boomers the #'s just got out of hand? The Vintage CCM Club doesn't seem to have much interest or knowledge in musclebikes. I will ask around at the Brantford show to get to the bottom of this. Have you ever seen a Marauder? Thats one nasty musclebike. Even larger than a Chopper it fits an adult quite nicely & with one of the most comfortable banana seats in the business. And the styling speaks for it self, the only thing nicer is an Columbia SS in my opinion but it wont take an adults weight stock.

Hey Kenny, I have joined your forum in relation to a CCM Marauder that someone is trying to rebuild. This site is mostly a social networking forum to arrange meetings on a regular bases where most of the discussion takes place. The Raleigh Chopper was sold around the world & we don't know how deep the rabbit hole goes with different original versions appearing here regularly that brings a new definition to the term rare. There are no surviving Raleigh internal documents & we are left with serial #'s & hub dates. Choppers are graded by their serial #'s, the earlier the better. With my testimony & John Brian's confirmation we have just now been able to determine the first delivery date in North America. There are so many unanswered questions & speculation about this bike that seem to have stopped John's Musclebike History in its tracks.
