Hello from Finland! I'm new to the forum. Just bought a 1979 Mk2 Chopper in very good original condition. Needs only new tires, cleaning and service. I'll post pics when I have time to take some...

Hi Ive just purchase a dilapidated Mark 1 and not so dilapidated mark 3. I intend to do the Mark 1 up, it certainly needs it. Any advice would be much appreciated. Ive already learnt that re-chroming costs a fortune, having been offered £150 to £180 for chroming the two mud guards. Also I was going to strip the paint with Nitra Mores paint stripper is that acceptable? Many thanks, nice to be a member! Ps tried to include a picture but it says file too big. Cheers.

Welcome Ian, sounds like a nice project there, if you are having difficulties with uploading pics either use photobucket, or email them to thehotone1970@hotmail.com and I'll get it up for ya!

Hi just purchased a very rough sprint in bronze this is my second sprint unfortunately had to sell last one about 5 years ago I have had a few choppers in my time and currently have two mk2s in prismatic and silver. Although I have had about 20 choppers over the last twenty odd years this sprint will be my first restoration looking for a colour match for the sprint any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers Stuart
