Hi all, just joined, got my first Chopper last month at the age of 59 ! My wife despairs !! Its a "Ben Sherman" limited sdition mk 3, great to ride with good manners and great looks, I liked it that much that I have just bought a silver 77' mk2 (shown above, next to my mates SE) ...it will be good to compare the two.... Prost ! Steve.

Welcome on board. A nice start to your collection. Enjoy.
At least having these bikes, our other halves know where we are :-)

The Ben Sherman is one of the better limited editions. Yours looks in really nice condition Oradour.

Thanks for the comments chaps ! Well sorted out the gear change issues, adjusted the brakes and locked down the sissy bar/seat......and then went for my first ride on an early Chopper......and then had to re align the gear toggle/cable as kept jumping out of 2nd gear ! Now I know how dangerous the "T" bar gear change could be !!! lol ! Any way it rides a treat, I can not wait to get the car rack to take it to nearby Tatton park for a shake down........see if I can persuade my mate to accompany me on his SE....here's more images of my mk2 (or should that be the wifes mk2) and my mk3 which I have "blinged" up. footnote:- it appears my wife has laid claim to the mk2 ! She remembers "zooming" round Torkington park (Stockport) and crashing it causing £40 worth of damage and a couple of stitches ? I tried to give her the mk3 but no, she wants the 2 ! Oh well I will have to get a mk1 for myself ! Prost ! Steve Attachments:

I'm up the road from Tatton Park. I shall keep an eye out for a 'blinged' up Ben Sherman!
