Best get one ASAP then bud! Its never too late to go back to your childhood, it just gets more expensive every year to relive it!

That it is Rich...If your into 80s motorbikes, I guess it figures you likely had a Chopper in the 70s, I know a few lads on the RD forum that have Choppers and Burners too

Evening all, Went to party last night and this was in the hallway..spent much of the party on the googling Raleigh Choppers, took it for a spin down the road, found the owner and ended up taking it away..best party been to for a long time!
Anyway, I had a Silver Jubilee model back in 1977 when I would have been 10, around 15 years ago , unknown to me, my Mum threw it away...We all still taunt her about that now, especially more so as the money they fetch..
Ive no idea if the bike ive bought is much cop or how original it is but it rode well enough, gears didnt slip and the crank felt straight n true...Bad points I noticed where front light bracket broken(ordered replacement tonight) , sissy bar pulls out from frame (loose clamps im hoping) and seat torn/ripped..paint/decals look original but it was dark and id had a couple of drinks!
I was pointed in the forums direction from a lad on the RD350LC forum, I have a couple of 80s motorcycles but the garage feels more complete with my first real love and experience of 2 wheels in it.
Look forward to joining in with all the banter and seeing what the forum has to offer.
Cheers Bryan
