Hello,
My name's Al and I suppose it's a mid life crisis as I'm reliving my yoof through my Daughter Maggot...
Long story short, had a Mk2 back in 79 to 85ish BMX? Whatever... I've always had classic cars so thought my Daughter should start as I did and bought her a Raleigh Commando which she loves... Wheelchair for me, divorce, turn 42, buy Rover 75, retire, buy VW T25 auto with bike rack, maggot gets too big for Commando, buy two Mk3 choppers for Maggot and here we are today. A whirlwind tour of Zheimers life in one sentence and a few less bruises to the back of the swede through wheelies!
Apparently I'm a cool Dad, but she's not a teenager yet...

Hi there, new to this site, just saying hello.Got a few bikes I've been playing around with, Upside Down Chopper Framed Bike, Boxer, a custom Burner and a mk2 red Chopper. The Chopper is the first one I'm gonna paint (paint was too far gone). Here's a few pic's so far: As I got it What I didn't realise from the eBay pics was that everything that should be chrome has been sprayed silver!! As it looks now The frame is badly pitted so I'm currently rubbing it down to get a good finish before I try my hand at painting. Cheers

And as I'm from Northampton, I'll be showing my face at Billing. .. Don't own a chopper, to be fair I ain't even ridden one. Perhaps Billing will change that. I'm off to enjoy your furum :-)

Hi and welcome!
When it comes to choppers we know what there is needed to be known!
Who knows maybe you will find yourself a 'Billing bargain' that will start the chopper bug!

Its worse then it looks the frame was smashed in on the left rear stay. and theres a smaller dent on right side. Might be from being crushed between two cars or something and the old peddle arms bent into frame

Hi all. I'm new to this site but not to the Chopper scene. Roughly around 8 years ago I took a very rusty and unloved Ultra Violet MK2 and turned it into this .... I used to buy and sell them to a degree back then and even owned and sold a Sprint at one stage. I'm getting the bug back again to restore one again. But going to do it differently this time. Before I brought a rusty wreck and stripped it and rebuilt it etc. This time I'm starting off with a blank canvas and have brought this ... its going to be Infra Red and immaculate. I will source the parts as and when and rebuild it slowly back to a working bike again!
